Lainey Faulkner

 Lainey Faulkner is the Community-Clinical Linkages Program Manager at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s Bureau of Health Promotion. She graduated from Washburn University with an Associates of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015 and a Bachelors of Health Science in Health Services Administration in 2016. Lainey worked as a physical therapist assistant following her graduation from Washburn in 2015 prior to joining Kansas Department of Health and Environment in 2019. She is passionate about improving health outcomes throughout the state of Kansas.

Meredith Slan

Meredith Slan is the Public Health Educator for the Community-Clinical Linkages Section within the Bureau of Health Promotion at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Emporia State University. Previously, Meredith worked at the Kansas State Department of Education as a Public Health Educator. There, she managed Active Schools: Let’s Move Kansas, an initiative to increase physical activity throughout the day. Meredith lives in Topeka with her husband Erik and their son Benjamin.
